Repeat - I'm awake, I wish you were here with me. But you're as slow as the tectonic plates. I spoke up, I wish you believed me. My revelations seem erratic since I stopped sleeping. Stars in my eyes, I'm feeling high as god. Then as meaningless as cracks in the concrete. I'll be young forever in this, you'll never have the pleasure. Ascending. Balcony to rafters to glass held by cinder block. Descending. Floor to ladder to ceiling on repeat. I traced a line through every coincidence. The pattern bored me so I attempted exit. I thought I was free from the mountain's jaws. "But tiny morsel you're the treat we've been waiting for." Feast of brilliance, demoted to a cowering low. I was fire, but now I am as blank as snow. Confined forever in this, you'll never have the pleasure.
This entire album rips. I've had this on repeated play several times since it came out. I wish I had heard it a week earlier when they played in Boston. One of my fav albums in this genre period. slimes

Across their second full-length, the London post-punks offer up thrumming motoriks, industrial tones, and sullen sing-a-longs in abundance. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 17, 2024
This Leipzig group makes mindbendingly great post-punk with tons of weird synth sounds adding to the demented funhouse feel. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 24, 2023
